Janet A. Omisore is a Political Scientist, a Chartered administrator and Secretary of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administration, (ICSAN) Nigeria and (ICSA) London. She is a project initiator and implementer, consultant, instructor with over twenty years’ successful track record of working in the private and public sectors of Nigeria. She worked with the Nigerian Association and Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture for 15 years before retiring in the year 2018 as Deputy Director General. She was also the Private Secretary to the Wife of the Osun State Governor from 2003- 2007. An ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management Systems) and ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management Systems) Implementer, consultant /Train the Trainers. She is also a Train the Trainer on the ECOWAS Trade Liberalization Scheme (ETLS). Janet has at different period worked to provide business advisory, advocacy, training and trade facilitation services to enhance the socio-economic development of the country, developed and implemented collaborative project/programs for capacity building of different segments of the society. She has over the years’ facilitated trade capacity building programs, empowerment program for less privileged and indigent, facilitated business to business meetings, business to group meetings in various sectors as well as enhanced the promotion of cross border trade within the African region and internationally.
